Natural Life Design In Miller Residence Suitable For Refreshing
  • Live with nature may be a dream of many people. Unfortunately, modern life style limits the natural life inside living spaces. Considering the condition, famed architect Eero Saarinen composes a classic modernist Miller residence to bring the nature as the surrounding element. This residence is originally commissioned by Indiana based, modern architecture patron, J. Irwin Miller and his wife in 1953. In 2000, Miller Residence was declared a National Landmark. After Xenia Simons Miller, Miller’s wife, passed away in 2008, this house finally became the property of Indianapolis Museum of Art.
  • This house is surrounded by natural life of beautiful greenery and exterior. The garden and patio compose fascinating look for this calm house. Miller Residence is provided with sunken sitting area that is designed for many people and decorated with colorful taste. Cushions are spread in this area with red tone and attractive accent. This area is equipped with unique accessories such as grand piano, greeny house plants, sculptures and many others. This conversation pit is place perfectly at the center of living space. The living room is decorated with antique accessories and natural elements.
  • A huge shelving unit is used as home library complete with book collections and sitting area. This place looks comfortable and homey even for visitors. The dining room is completed with marble dining table and white tone color; while the other areas compose a fresh atmosphere and appearance.
